Q: Why did you become a filmmaker?
KH: I became a filmmaker because I wanted to take my theater skills to the next level, to challenge myself.
Q: What are we going to see at the EFP? Has it screened elsewhere and what are your plans for it?
KH: The project on EFP is a teaser for a documentary I’m working on about local poet/activist Lenny Chernila. This is it’s first screening.
Q: What else are you working on?
KH: The only other thing I’m working on are promo spots for the magic shop I’m opening with my partner soon.
Q: Tell us one weird thing about you and/or your movies?
KH: One weird thing: My partner and I are opening a magic shop.

KH: I love the EFP! I refer budding filmmakers and actors to it all the time.
