Meet Patrick Friedauer. Patrick will be attending the February EFP with his short film I Do, which was created for the 2013 Denver 48 Hour Film Project and screened at the year’s Best of Screening.
EA: Why did you become a filmmaker?
PF: I’ve always loved movies. Making them sounded like the ultimate challenge. Listening to an audience react to something you create is why I’ll keep making more.
EA: What are we going to see at the EFP? Has it screened elsewhere and what are your plans for it?
PF: It screened at the 48 Hour Film Denver including the Best of Screening where our star Marty Lindsey won Best Actor! And that is what you are going to see. A stellar performance by a very talented local actor.
EA: What else are you working on?
PF: Nothing worth announcing. We do plan on being at the 48 Hour Film Project again this year.
EA: Tell us one weird thing about you and/or your movies?
PF: Is it weird that I have nothing weird to say?
EA: Where can people go to find out more about you and your work?
PF: You can find us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/3rdFloorFilms
Or on Vimeo at http://vimeo.com/channels/3rdfloorfilms
EA: Is there anything you’d like to say about The Emerging Filmmakers Project?
PF: Thanks for inviting us. And for providing a place for local film to be shared.
I Do will screen February 20th at The Emerging Filmmakers Project.
